Iraq In 3/3 Time With A Coda

A rumination on the effects of violence and war.

Written and Directed By Gavin Kayner

Featuring Eric Everts, Jason Schutte, Nicolette Shaffer, & Jared Stokes

IRAQ IN 3/3 TIME WITH A CODA is an evening of four short plays. In “Audition,” a brother seeks revenge for the alleged rape of his sister but unleashes his own personal demons instead. “Guess You Know Why I’m Here” is the story of a medic, haunted by the death of a sergeant during a firefight in Iraq, and driven by his guilt to a confession. “Sniper” features an Army marksman gone rogue after fatally wounding his brother while on duty in Iraq. Finally, in “Trust the Sky,” a young woman considers the loss of her father on 9/11.
