Helping Tucson’s Youth Explore Self-Expression Through Theatre
The Live Theatre Workshop Education Theatre Program is dedicated to creating a safe place for diverse groups of students to express their creativity, learn teamwork, and gain self-confidence and skills that prepare them to be innovative and well-rounded adults. Whether your student is wanting to try theatre for the first time or they are ready to take on a full production, we have a class or camp for them.

Classes And Camps
Live Theatre Workshop runs year-round programs including after-school, weekend, summer and school break camps. LTW classes are enriched with acting lessons and theatre activities and are also a great place for students to connect with fellow peers and create lifelong friendships.
We challenge each of our students individually and as an ensemble. There are many skill sets to be learned as a young actor and we have created classes that help your children and teens advance to each level. To achieve this goal, it’s important to have each student in the proper grade level so they can be challenged most effectively.
As our Director of Education, Amanda Gremel explains, “There’s a place for everyone at the theatre and it is our job to help each student find it”.
Payment plans, scholarships, and participation forms!
Did you know that Live Theatre Workshop offers payment plans for our education classes? We understand that our students take many different types of classes and most of the time tuition is due all at once. LTW is here to help! We work with each family to split up the cost of tuition in smaller easier payments through out a session.
Needing a little more help? LTW is truly gifted with great funders who see the value in arts education. We have over $10,000 in scholarships to give out throughout the year and are happy to award students who have limited access to theatre.
All students who take classes with us here at LTW must have a participation form completed before or by the first day of class.
Class refund policy: Tuition is refundable through the first week of classes with the exception of a $25 deposit holding fee, which is included in the initial tuition cost. After the first week, refunds will no longer be available.
Camp refund policy: We are a small business with limited space usually with a wait list. In order to make sure our camps are full, we ask that all refund requests happen within 48 hours of the start of camp for a full refund with the exception of a $25 deposit holding fee, which is included in the initial tuition cost.
