2025-2026 Season Community Auditions
Arts Express, Borderlands Theater, Live Theatre Workshop, Invisible Theatre, Saguaro City Music Theatre, The Scoundrel and Scamp Theatre & Winding Road Theater Ensemble in partnership with Pima Community College and the University of Arizona School of Theatre, Film and Television will hold open auditions for the 2025-2026 season at Pima Community College – West Campus on Friday, May 16th and Saturday, May 17th.
Each audition slot will be 5 minutes. All seven theaters will be attending the open auditions at the S&S to learn more about the amazing talent we have in Tucson.
Open audition actors should prepare either:
- two contrasting monologues, no more than one minute long each
- OR a monologue and a 16 bar song, to be sung acapella or accompanied by a track
(we will have a speaker available – but auditionees are welcome to bring their own).

- Create an AZ Inclusive Casting Platform Profile. If you have previously made a profile, please submit a new entry.
- After you submit the AZ-ICP profile you will be contacted within 48 hours to confirm your audition time.

Ship

Forced to return to her home town of Mystic, Connecticut after a stint in rehab, Nell is determined to get her life back on track. Her plan includes being promoted to the most high profile job in town: a tour guide aboard a historic whaling ship, and tracking down her former classmate who tried and failed to grow the longest fingernails in the world. With the help and hindrance of her older sister, Nell grabs at her chance for hometown glory-– but repairing her relationship with her mother and breaking free of her worst instincts lands her in increasingly ridiculous circumstances. Ship is a witty and hilarious exploration of a person’s potential and the awkward experiences we have trying to get our sea legs as functional adults.

A Year With Frog and Toad
