Taigé Lauren

Taigé Lauren, she/her, is excited to be back at Live Theatre Workshop with this beautiful script. You may have seen her earlier this season at LTW as Catherine in BOSTON MARRIAGE or at The Rogue in their play reading series. She most recently moved to the Southwest from Seattle where some of her favorite roles included Lady Macbeth in MACBETH, 4.48 PSYCHOSIS, Sally Bowles in CABARET, and Angelo in MEASURE FOR MEASURE. Before the pandemic, she toured her self written, directed, and performed music theatre show, SEARCHERS, to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, receiving 4 and 5 star reviews. Aaron Cammack

• Aaron Cammack (he/him) is over the moon to be making his debut at LTW. Cammack trained with the incredibly illustrious Kathryn Gately and studied acting as an undergraduate at Texas A&M Corpus Christi and as a graduate student at the University of Washington. Recent regional and professional credits include THE GLASS MENAGERIE as Tom Wingfield (Arizona Theatre Company), LOVE’S LABOUR’S LOST as Berowne (Seattle Shakespeare Company), SEX WITH STRANGERS as Ethan (12th Avenue Arts), FORCE CONTINUUM as Flip & SKIES OVER SEATTLE directed by Lisa D’Amour (Jones Playhouse Seattle), PIPPIN as Pippin (Hutchinson Hall Theatre), HENRY V as King Henry (Wilson Theatre), and others. Cammack was nominated for an Excellence in Teaching Award at the University of Washington for his work with aspiring actors and has taught in Chicago, Seattle and South Texas. Robert Encila

Robert Encila is a proud alumnus of the University of Arizona Music and Theatre program. He has spent the past three decades balancing multiple roles: as a high school theater teacher, a freelance singer and music director, a former artistic director of a theater company, and most recently, as a theater critic for Broadway World Arizona. Robert brings a wealth of cultural insights from growing up in the Philippines, where he first discovered his love for the theater as a teenager, bagging the lead role of Jesus in Manila’s production of Jesus Christ Superstar in Tagalog. Robert was a founding member of Borderlands Theater and earned his Equity card through a production of The Pajama Game with the Arizona Theatre Company. Favorite shows directed: Sunday in the Park with George, America Hurrah, JB, A Man of No Importance, Tick, Tick…Boom, and Man of La Mancha. After several years of travel and writing theater reviews, Robert is thrilled to return to directing and couldn’t have found a better pair of actors to join him than Aaron and Taige’. A big shoutout to Ginny, Catherine, Maya, and Blake — and much love to grandkids Miles, Graham, and Rex, who continually inspire this man’s youthful creativity.

Alex Totillo

Alex Totillo – she//they (Production Stage Manager) is a lifelong theater nerd who’s first show stage managing was aptly titled THE NERD. They have since stage managed at various theaters around Tucson including for Live Theater Workshop’s production of BODY AWARENESS. Alex could previously be spotted in the Etcetera show WE MAY NOT HAVE ANSWERS BUT WE SURE AS HELL HAVE SOME QUESTIONS. As a fan of plays with long titles, Alex was the director for THE ELUSIVE PURSUIT OF MAXIMUM BLISS, assistant stage manager for A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE GYNECOLOGIC ONCOLOGY UNIT AT MEMORIAL SLOAN KETTERING CANCER CENTER OF NEW YORK CITY, and dramaturg for N. They are currently the resident dramaturg for Winding Road Theater Ensemble.

Lilliana Subia

I’m a high school student training to be a stage manager. I’m the show’s assistant stage manager and I’m very happy as well as excited to be part of this production!

Taryn Wintersteen

Taryn Wintersteen (Technical Direction) has been enjoying her involvement with the LTW mainstage shows. She graduated with a BFA in Theater Production with an Emphasis in Scenic Design from the University of Arizona in 2013 where she was the Properties Master for NINE and Scenic Designer for BOEING BOEING. She then explored the world of museum fabrication and motherhood for a few years before jumping back into theater with LTW. You can see some of her museum work in the Witte museum in San Antonio, TX and various other museums across the country. You also may have seen some of her scenic work in recent LTW mainstage productions. She would like to thank her husband for taking up the mantle of stay at home working dad to let her get work done and to the amazing staff here at LTW that offer so much support and talent

Richard Gremel

Richard Gremel (Lighting Designer) has been lighting up the LTW stage for the past 15 years. His lighting designs have also been seen on other Tucson stages in the past. He is a graduate of the University of Arizona where he received a B.F.A. in Theatre Education. Richard is the acting and technical theatre teacher at Empire High School. He is the recipient of the 2017-2018 Arizona Thespians Teacher of the Year and the 2018-2019 OnMedia Tucson Arts Hero Award. Aside from tech and teaching, Richard acts, directs, and writes plays for the LTW stage. He currently has ten published plays which have been seen all over the United States, Canada, India, Hong Kong, England and Australia. www.richardgremelplaywright.com

David Ragland

David Ragland (Sound Designer) is a Berklee College of Music graduate who is active in the Tucson music and theatre communities. David has written and directed music for LTW’s Children’s Theatre since 2007 including the critically-acclaimed TALL TALES: LEGENDS OF AMERICA. David’s previous sound design credit is for
ON THE VERGE, OR THE GEOGRAPHY OF YEARNING at Live Theatre Workshop.

Kathy Hurst

Kathy Hurst got her professional start in costuming at the New Jersey Classic Ballet Company. She has costumed for many directors in Tucson over the years including Robert Encila which makes this show a bit of a reunion. As always, it is a pleasure to design for LTW and this unusual show is no exception.
